The treats themselves are on the pricier side if you're using them solely for clicker training or treat training. However, they can easily be cut or broken in half and mixed with something of lower value.

All of my horses love the treats. They are all older rescue horses, and at least half of them have metabolic issues. It’s wonderful to be able to feed them treats that I don’t have to worry will cause issues. My rabbit devours the treats. One thing we’ve noticed is that some horses need a few introductions before they fully accept new foods, especially if they’re used to sweeter treats with added sugars, starches, or fillers. We actually hear stories fairly often where a horse spits the first one out, refuses the second, and then suddenly decides they love them a few tries later😊

One customer recently shared that her horse shook his head and spit the first one out, refused the second, and by the third try was eagerly looking for more. Horses can definitely be creatures of habit when it comes to taste and texture.
